The Army’s Fort Myer and the Marine Corps’ Henderson Hall officially became Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBMHH) on October1, 2009. The garrison now officially includes Fort Myer, Henderson Hall and Fort McNair across the Potomac River in Washington DC, and serves as the base support of operations for the Military District of Washington and the Joint Forces HQ of the National Capital Region.
JBMHH is located in Arlington, VA adjacent to Arlington National Cemetary. While the post is small, it has a good sized Commissary, the Rader Health Clinic, several pools, a small PX and two chapels.
The closest Metro stations are Arlington National Cemetary on the Blue Line or Rosslyn (multiple lines).
