The Washington Post releases a weekly “free things to do” list and many publications (like the Washingtonian’s annual Cheap Eats edition) are dedicated to saving you money at restaurants while still enjoying the vast array of culinary tastes the area offers. Area supermarkets, Trader Joe’s and Wegman’s, are committed to excellent quality and offer some of the lowest prices in the area.
