Just like a coach who may have played the game, and leads her team to victory with years of experience and knowledge behind her, I am here for you! I’ve walked in your shoes and now professionally practice the skills that will help you achieve “victory” in your home buying journey! I am a passionate advocate for my clients and I’ll guide you through the search process of finding a home, making an offer, and navigating the maze of contract details, addendums, inspections and deadlines. I’ll provide you with all the necessary information and tools to enable you to make informed decisions. I am committed to making the process as effortless for you as I can and take pride in a hands- on approach to your home buying process.
Relocation Expert
Whether you’re moving across town or from across the country, I can help you find the right home for you. Having lived throughout the U.S., overseas and in several places in the Northern Virginia area, I have a broad perspective on the unique aspects of relocating and buying a house in a new area. I pride myself on helping buyers find the neighborhood and home that will best fit their individual needs. We’ll spend time talking (whether on the phone or via email) about what you’re looking for in a home and neighborhood — the first step towards success. We’ll then organize the search and I’ll guide you through the process of reviewing homes and helping assess which home best fits your needs.
Negotiator
Once we find you the right home, we’ll work together to review and assess the market information to make a solid offer. One of my favorite parts of this job is the finesse of negotiating to help you get the absolute best deal! We’ll work not just on the price, but all the terms and conditions in the contract to best serve your needs.
Counselor
I’ll offer you my professional advice all along the way from beginning to end and beyond settlement as well. If there are bumps along the road (difficulties with financing, issues from the home inspection, other surprises) I’m here for you to lean on! Know you’ve got a trusted professional advisor helping you throughout the transaction. At times, I’ve even been a punching bag if things get a bit challenging. I view it as all part of the process! It may be a business transaction, but there are few big financial and life decisions like buying a home and I understand how personal it is!
Lifeguard
I’ll handle the worries, so you don’t have to. I’ll keep track of all the details and deadlines and keep you informed of what needs to be done when & how. I’ll attend the home inspection and walk through with you and then, on closing day, I’ll attend with you and review all the paperwork and be there for any questions. In all the years I’ve been a Realtor ®, my clients have come to rely on me even after the closing date!
